CERA IMPALA- ​Cera Impala is a wild banjo-wielding mama from the USA who has toured internationally. A magnetic songsmith she has a voice both timeless and unique. Her compositions and lyrics spin genuine and intimate yarns. A multi-instrumentalist, she plays ukelele, guitar, and her very own brand of hard-driving clawhammer banjo. Performing with relaxed charm, wit, intelligence and passion, she can appear as a solo artist, as a duo with violinist Dirk Ronneburg, or with her band, The New Prohibition. Cera has collaborated with a wide range of artists in a variety of styles, from traditional old-time mountain music & bluegrass, to swing & jazz, to indie & electro-coustic pop ​

MILVUS MILVUS - ​Glasgow Electronic Post-Punks Milvus Milvus blend a love of scratchy guitar playing with hard kick drums, complex electronic rhythms and simple basslines, creating a unique sound that simultaneously hearkens back to the world of the late 80s New Wave while looking towards the future with genres like house, techno, and minimalism. Released in January 2019, their debut EP “I” was inspired by the band’s feelings of powerlessness concerning the Syrian Civil War and subsequent refugee crisis, and the seeming apathy they saw both in others and themselves. Laying bare their struggles with mental health, suicide, isolation, and religion through music, Milvus Milvus offer a frank and honest look at themselves and by extension the society that they live in. Consisting of one white descendant of Highlanders and one mixed race Scottish Indian, Milvus Milvus are a representation of modern Scotland that stands in contrast to the rest of their peers

CORNFIELD CHASE - ​are a Fife-based dreamy indie rock band that centre around founder Sandy Power’s lyrical imagery and distinctive vocal. The bands’ influences range from Radiohead to Nirvana, Jeff Buckley to PJ Harvey with strong melodies on top of reverberant guitars and driving rhythms. They have just finished recording their debut EP and news about its release isn’t too far away. This appearance marks the first live outing of the current line-up

BROTHERS - ​are a three-piece alternative rock band from Ayrshire, Consisting of Fraser Donaldson on Vocals and Guitar, Curtis McConnell on Bass Guitar and David Henderson on Drums. Brothers are a perpetual state of fluctuation between fast and slow, heavy and light. Hypnotics drawing attention to the lyrics and adding power to the music, Punctuated by melodic riffs, mighty choruses and meteoric crescendos. These are what Brothers use as their building blocks for every show

NORTHTOP GUNMAN - ​Edinburgh-based Goth Rockers Northtop Gunman resurrect the post-punk wave of the 80's and 90's, with chorus-infused guitars, drum machines and more black leather than you can shake an eyeliner brush at. The Gunmen are for fans of Killing Joke, Sisters of Mercy and Type O Negative - or just those of a pessimistic disposition

Resound A Silent : Sherlock, Jr. with Live Music

RESOUND A SILENT -rescores classic films that either had no original music, or the original music has been lost. On the 5th of May Resound a Silent will be screening two of Buster Keaton's films with live music. These films, regarded by many as two of his finest, showcase his slapstick comedy, his use of props and his ability to push the art form into new territory.

ATTIC CHOIR - are a three-piece alternative rock band from near Edinburgh, consisting of Andrew Wright (guitar, vocals), Evan Hamilton (bass, vocals) and Dillion Kennedy (drums), whose music is often characterised by dynamic shifts and punchy riffs. Featuring in local online music blogs as well as radio appearances in Scotland and the US, the band’s previous single releases, ‘shHAarp’, ‘Bleeding Grounds’ and ‘A Flawless Trap’ have been met with positive reviews from music critics and fans alike.

LUKE LA VOLPE - The band formed in July 2017, each of the members have had their own separate music careers however started playing together for fun and then formed the band after realising their potential. They bring together a mixture of blues and rock and roll to form a unique live sound, which has been generating interest across the industry. Since their formation, the band has enjoyed performing to packed venues across the country, supporting the likes of Alabama 3, Gerry Cinnamon & Tom Clarke (The Enemy), as well as selling out their debut own EP launch at the Caves in Edinburgh.

GHOST DANCE COLLECTIVE -Based in Edinburgh, Ghost Dance Collective are a modern take on psychedelic rock. With influences ranging from popular 60s bands, to the weird and obscure, they have found a unique sound, encompassing guitar riffs with melodic organs.

PEACH AKA SMALL LITTLE TOES -eisty wee Edinburgh based songstress, belting out bi-polar folk lamenting the human condition, mammalian relationships and dirty sex talk.
