We have three local beers on our rotational taps this month:
Newbarns Table Beer
Inspired by Scottish brewing heritage Newbarns Table Beer is made with pale Golden Promise malt and a significant proportion of oats, both malted and unmalted. Fermented using a clean ale yeast, and hopped with a rotating hop bill.
Cross Borders Southern Pale Ale
Hopped exclusively with New Zealand varieties. 2021's version includes Motueka, Waimea, Nelson Sauvin and Rakau Expect tropical fruit, crushed pine needles, and intense lime zest.
Moonwake Pale Ale
Added oats give Moonwake Pale Ale a smooth mouthfeel alongside tropical flavours of mango, lychee and berries.
Cocktail of the Month : La vie En Rose
A clean and crisp lemon Martini with a hint of intoxicating floral.
We've addded two new Rums to our shelves from Matugga Distillery (Scottish Craft African Soul) : Matugga Golden Rum, classically inspired, gourmet smoky golden rum and Matugga Spiced Rum, delicately balanced, aromatic spiced rum of nuanced complexity
We have three fantastic new gins for you to try. Tobermory is a small batched gin from the Isle of Mull distillery Tobermory. It features local botanicals including elderflower, tea and wild heather.
Kinrara from the Cairngorms distillery is a juniper led dry gin with rosehips and rowan berries.
